Happy Birthday- and I hope your sister pulls through all of this- I am actually visiting to say thanks for your kind comment on my guest post at Scary Mommy months ago- I wrote on the myth of the super mom and you gave me a rundown of all the things you didn't like to do- like cook! We all have our aversions! :)

Thanks, again for the note- and I wish your family well as you tackle this....

Wow, sounds like you have more to work on than any of us! LOL Yes, your job never ends as a mom, doesn't matter if it's the weekend or holiday, the chores are always there and the kids always fall on you! Good luck with your hubby!! :)

Oooohoho...I know exactly what you were saying! totally!...My husband never wakes up even if the kids are crying in his ear..he thinks just because he goes to work he gets to sleep as long as he can and whenever he wants. And then he does not bother to pick up the shredded newspaper thrown by the kids on the floor even though he has stepped on it couple of times in the day...or picking up the cushions from the floor even though he is there on the sofa (without the cushion on it) and always left his cups wherever he wants too...hhhh...He thinks I am his servant or what?!!...On his off days he normally tells me to let go and just relax, but then when he is off to work the next day I am the one who is left with the house looking like a crime scene...Hmm..great post by the way... :)

Don't you hate feeling resentment towards your husband though? It's a double edge sword - it's frustrating for us on the one hand because we do nothing but take care of our kids but can't blame him for doing his thing since one of us should. Hang in there!

Thanks Heidi! Maybe sometimes I feel impatient about it and that's where my frustrations are I think.
