motherhood, etc…. this is my world lately, I have two young baby girls under the age of 3 who are 17 months apart, so yes, I’m busy. Being a Stay-At-Home Mom full time since the birth of my first daughter has been rewarding as well as challenging. To all those single moms out there, this is a big shout out to you all because I don’t know how you do it as I have a very supportive husband and still have many “pulling my hair out” days. Why does it seem so bad some days? I think this journey has a lot of life lessons and that is why it’s so bumpy. Am I happy to be a Mom? OF COURSE! I LOVE my girls, and wanted to start a family so badly. I just never knew I would be one of those women who say they throw their kids at their husbands as soon as they walk through the door from work! NOW I understand why they say that! I used to think to myself, “How could you say that? Don’t you love your babies? I know when I have mine, I wouldn’t feel that way.” HA! I CAN’T WAIT for my husband to come home from work! Are you kidding me?!
Wow… blowing off some steam! Haha…
Well, I know that being a mom is not easy (at all), and the life we have now is incredibly different from what it was without kids. Before them, I had a high power corporate job and even ventured to start a photography business. We actually had money back then that we can put away for savings or going out on the weekends… and even weeknights! The life we have now consists of schedules, staying at home a lot, spending very wisely, and….. lots of laughs, hugs and kisses from our little baby girls!!! I would not trade THAT for our old lives.
Here, I hope to share with you all my experiences with the girls, my pregnancies that could help other women who are mommy-to-be’s, and along the way meet some other fabulous mommies out there.
MOMS: a salute to you all, aren’t we lucky to have the best job ever?!
